Ministry Opportunities
CEF Dallas is always looking for dedicated believers who are interested in ministering to children. We have several different ministry opportunities in which you can be trained to reach children for Christ.
Good News Clubs
Good News Club is at the heart of the ministry of CEF, reaching children who may not otherwise attend church or hear the Gospel. Weekly clubs are held for one hour after school, usually right at a local elementary school, or nearby home, apartment, or community center. Led by trained volunteers, the program includes games, refreshments, singing, Bible memory, missionary stories, and a Bible lesson.

5-Day Clubs
During the summer months, 5-Day Clubs are hosted by individuals and families as a ministry to children in their neighborhood. Supported by their church, trained leaders invite children to gather together for five consecutive days at their homes or another convenient location for some fun, a snack, singing, missionary stories and a Gospel lesson from the Bible.

Other Ministries
Mailbox Club
The CEF Mailbox Club™ is an exciting through-the-mail discipleship ministry for children and adults. The program includes six different age-related series of lessons, which are available in English, Spanish, large print and Braille. A series consists of seven to ten lessons, for which there is no charge.
After the student completes and mails in the first lesson, it is processed by a volunteer who prays for any needs the student might have, writes an encouraging note, and sends a new lesson. Students are awarded certificates as they complete each lesson series.
