"The Good News Club program is one of the most cost effective
outreach programs our church has ever implemented."

What is a
Good News Club?
Good News Club is an effective outreach program to children. It is
a one hour, once a week program typically held during the school year. Children
come to hear Bible and missions stories, learn memory verses, sing songs and
participate in other fun activities. Good News
Clubs can be held in a neighborhood home, apartment complex, and even a
local elementary school!
Who leads
the Good News Club?
Preferably, CEF Dallas partners with a
local church and/or ministry who will provide the team of volunteers that will
lead the club. The teaching team typically consists of 3-5 volunteers. There
is also need for volunteers to work behind-the-scenes to assist with
preparations.
How is
the Good News Club Team Trained?
CEF Dallas will come alongside your team
to assist and prepare your team to start the
Good News Club. A CEF Liaison
will work closely with your team. All Good
News Club team members working directly with minors will need to be
screened via CEF’s Child Protective Policy.
What is the cost of the
Good News Club
program?
The
Good News Club program is a very cost
effective program! The cost for the “GNC Start-up” curriculum kit is
approximately $100. (This covers the 1st semester’s curriculum based on a 10
week schedule and 25 children.) Additional expenses would include refreshments,
incentives, administration costs (copies, name tags, etc). Additional
semester’s curriculum range anywhere from $50 - $100.
